Youth forum in North London

A number of L&Q’s young residents in North London have formed a forum. They aim to represent young L&Q residents, highlight youth issues, promote activities and lobby for youth facilities and services.

At their April 2008 meeting, members had a chance to comment on L&Q’s youth strategy for North London.

Now that it is now formally constituted, the forum can apply for funding in its own right. Members are investigating using multi-media to engage young people in discussing anti-social behaviour and gaining qualifications in filming techniques. They are also looking into a possible pan-London youth conference for 2009.
